Felipe VI (Spanish: [feˈlipe ˈseɣsto]^[c], full name: Felipe Juan Pablo Alfonso de Todos los Santos de Borbón y Grecia; born 30 January 1968) is the King of Spain.

He became king in 2014 following the abdication of King Juan Carlos.

He is the third child and only son of King Juan Carlos I, and Queen Sofía. In 2004, Felipe married TV news journalist Letizia Ortiz, with whom he has two daughters, Leonor (his heir presumptive) and Sofía.
